:( Mustang plans..?
Ok, so here's the story..I have a '94 Mustang GT convertible and the paint on it is really, really bad. I spun out on a gravel road in October 2004 and ended up running through a barb wire fence. Needless to say, the damage isn't pretty. I'm uploading some pictures so you can get an idea.
I'm planning on about $3,000 of performance modifications (h/c/i swap and a few other things) and I've been quoted at $3,000 out the door for new paint.
Is there any real reason for concern over doing paint before performance modifications? I know the standard procedure is to do paint LAST, but my paint is really, really ugly. It looks even worse now that I have chrome rims.

My cousin is doing it (he has a shop) so I know it'll be a really nice job.
562, are you using a Pro Ripper? If so, are you using the stock boot or an aftermarket? I'm trying to figure out the height drop on the Pro Ripper so I can order a new boot (mine is torn), but I can't figure out what it is..
