Default Permanent Water Spot Problem W/Pics

Hey guys i still have those annoying *** water spots that wont come off no matter how much i clean it...even when its clean you can look reaaallly close and see like mineral build it seems like(no pics, cant get that close with the camera)..and now after i clean my car and it just gets that first layer of dust(not dirt) they really show up and just takes away from everything...maybe you guys know of something that will get them off the glass after i wash it...and its only on the rear glass, no other windows..

Try a 50:50 mixture of water and vinegar first. That is really good for breaking up the mineral deposits. If that doesn't work, you will most likely have to polish the paint. My OD Light Polish will work really well for this. It just depends on how bad the water spots are etched into the paint. I've had some vehicles where polishing wouldn't even take them out and I had to wetsand to remove them. Like I said, try the vinegar method first and see how that goes.

I had the same exact problem a while back with my previous vehicle when I used that Mr. Clean car wash system and I used a claybar to remove the water spots. I have not used that Mr. Clean system since. If the claybar does not work you may want to try the turtle wax bug and tar remover as it can work wonders and is completely safe for your paint and glass. Good luck.

i would be curious to know what kind of polish & wax you are using.

also when i think of polish i think of a non abrasive polish, not a rubbing compound.

i know ive seen this on my car a little when ive tried some wax. couldnt tell ya which they were though becuase ive been using wolfgang for a few years now
