i have a 1997 mustang that isnt very clena under the hood what can i do to help first get all the engine grime and dirt off then begin to make it shin hopefully like a new engine if thats even possible

any engine degreaser by GUNK will work to start! after that follow with CD2 engine detailer (once the motor is dry)


FYI -do not drive until product is totally dry as it will grab dust if you live in a dusty area or around construction. Just idle the motor to operating temp and shut off after the product is applied



do not use on hot engine and protect the plugs, air filter (esp if you have a CAI) and any other sensitive electronics. Use a steady but not high pressure stream of the hose to remove after about 15 mins. once applied wait for a bit and use a soft brush to work off the caked on dirt and grease or hand wash mitt for the painted parts.
