Well, i ordered my new top for my 85 vert this week and it should be here shortly. I also ordered the new pads and tensioning cables along with the glass window complete top kit. I am wondering what kind of glue to use to seal the rear section to the top section. Also any other tips and tricks to replace this myself. I am not having anyone else replace my top they want way too much money up this way. I was quoted 1600 parts and labour for the cheapest one and there aparently not that good. I am an auto technician by trade and have the i can fix anything attitude. I also know there are quite a few people here that have replaced them themselves and asking them to chime in....
