Default Questions for Zaino Users

I am going to be entering my car in a show next weekend. I have ordered the Zaino products and they should be arriving today. I am going to wash with Dawn soap, claybar, wash with Z7 then, apply three coats of Z5 using the Z6 in between. I will be using the ZFX additive. Do I need to follow up with anything else, like wax or is the polish enough?Would you recommend the Z8 spray? I didn't buy it but I still have time to. Also, is it safe to claybar wheels? I have aluminium wheels and theres some brake dust just caked on that won't come off.

First of all do not use down soap. That soap strips wax off of cars. I suggest using zainos car wash and if you didn't get that then going to auto zone or somewhere and picking up some car wash($4). And for what order to use the polishes on just go to his website and it tells you what to use and how to use it and in what order. Good look with it and post some pictures. I just ordered mine and it should come in a little bit so i cant wait.

Yes you dawn the car first. For 2 reasons removes all oil and grease from the car. Two gets the carnuba off the car, Zaino's products are not carnuba based. After the Z5 put a coat of Z2pro on and then finish with the Z8 (your choice you can put another coat of z6 if you like first). I use all of there products and enjoy using them.

http://autopia.org/ Great place to get some future help with Zaino products or any car care products.

Thanks Chris

If you can afford them, the Pinnacle products are the best I have ever used. Their Pinnacle Souveran paste wax is amazing on black and red cars. I have five coats of wax on my car now and it looks better than it did the day I picked it up. Good luck at the show.

You can use dawn to wash your car but if you do then you will strip off all the other waxes and sealents. I do not recommend washing your car with dawn every time though. I would invest in a good quality car wash that keeps that zaino shine like the kind he makes. Good look and send us some pictures of before and after the zaino products.
