Default rusty roof

My roof when I bought the car was a complete sheet of rust. I took it to maaco 2 times and the edges on the roof keep bubbling. Come to find out they half assed it and didn't even fill the edges. You can clearly still see rust if you look in the edges under the panels. It was even starting to do it in the middle of the roof. well I'm putting my car in a custom body shop around my way "positive effects". This will be my 3rd roof repair and hopefully it will be done right. The guy is pulling both my windows out taking my roof side panels off and sandblasting the edges properly and redoing the whole roof completly over. He said It shouldn't bubble the paint anytime soon. He said I prolly wont have the car anymore before it starts coming back. I didn't get to the price 900 bucks. I know it is alot considering its just the roof but I needed it fixed. You guys think it will bubble again cause I cant keep fixing my roof guys? I made a vow to myself if it does it again the good ol 6 is history. it is getting to costly every year redoing a roof. Does it sound like this will be my final fix with positive results? Since MAACO ****ed it up and didn't fill the edges at all those bastards. I'm hoping this custom shop will be my miracle.

$900 is a really fair price if they actually do sand blast (going to take a bit of prep work), fill, prime & paint/clear. If the rust is completely removed, it shouldn't come back.

Sounds like Maaco knocked down the rust to level off the paint & filled it. They probably never removed the rust entirely.
