Default Tint Protection

Hey guys, I've got a 2007 Mustang GT and I'm looking to protect my tint from scratching, especially from rolling the windows.

Is http://www.tintprotector.com/ford/index.htm any good? I'd appreciate the lowdown on this product or any other ideas.

I never knew that was even an issue. My tint has never been scratched from just rolling the window down or up.

If your tint has been done by a good installer, it should never scratch (unless abused of course)

There should be some sort of pad installed so when the window goes up and down it isn't scratched.

yea you shouldnt have to worry about the tint sratching. the only thing you want to make sure is to use a cleaner with NO ammonia.

most good tint places warranty their work and will replace the tint if your Mustang scratches them. You might have to pay for moleskin installation.

I have a 09 GT and had tint installed about two months ago... so far no scratches. I may be mistaken but I looked at the part where the inside of the window weatherstirp is and it looks like there is already some felt material on the strip.
