Tint Protection
Hey guys, I've got a 2007 Mustang GT and I'm looking to protect my tint from scratching, especially from rolling the windows.
Is http://www.tintprotector.com/ford/index.htm any good? I'd appreciate the lowdown on this product or any other ideas.

If your tint has been done by a good installer, it should never scratch (unless abused of course)
There should be some sort of pad installed so when the window goes up and down it isn't scratched.

YOU NEED THIS STUFF ON THE 05-09 MUSTANGS
the weatherstrip is just plain plastic and if you dont install the mole skin it will scratch!
a good tint shop will install it for you, i did mine myself, its real easy to do

TacoBills write up is for the Tint Protector kit you just linked too. Automoleskin.com and tintprotector.com are the same website. He has had it on his Mustang for years without any problems. It's a great kit!

I have a 09 GT and had tint installed about two months ago... so far no scratches. I may be mistaken but I looked at the part where the inside of the window weatherstirp is and it looks like there is already some felt material on the strip.
