so i know that you should never wash your car in the hot sun, but y not?

the only time i can seems to be when the sun is out and its HOT

why exactly cant i wash it right now?

 

washing isnt too bad, its the waxing that you shouldnt do, its because it makes it dry really fast and stuff, you will use 10 times the amount of wax in the sun than you would in a garage.

 

Water spots and soap film are worse in direct sunlight.

 

Does your driveway have any shade if so you can wash it there that way the sun isnt hitting the car so the water and soap arent drying on your car.

 

definatly not, my driveway is right in the sun

i live in chicago and last week or two its been around 95 each day

i just washed my the other night, and it rained this morning

I was lucking and it wasnt blasting hot today. Plus there were some nice clouds in the sky so I finally got my 6er washed.Sooo pretty......Yes I know I am.

wash it at dusk when theres no direct sun light on the car

 

Water spots are so hard to get rid of its just not worth it, wash in early morning or the evening, otherwise you will hate it later.

 

True. Wash it when there is less sun in the sky.
