Question about touching up 68 Coupe
I've gone back about 30 pages, but haven't seen anyone asking the question that I have (exactly). A few months ago, I bought a 68 coupe. Although the paint job on it was decent, there are a few small areas (the largest is probably about 1/3" in diameter with paint chips on different areas of the car (top of the car, front valance, and on the right-front fender). I ordered 2 oz of Wimbledon White (the color of my car) in the brush bottle, however, I'd like to know the best way to apply it so that I can be sure it looks as good as possible. I don't want it looking like "White Out".
After it has been applied, should I be sanding it or compounding it? What's the best way? I'm very new to all this, and just want to make sure that I'm doing the best thing for my 40+ year old car so that I can still enjoy it for years to come.
Thanks for any advice you have,
Mike
