Default difference in seat color

Hey guys, i have a 94 mustang with tan leather interior. my drivers side seat it pretty much wasted so im in the market for new seats. its hard to come across a 94-98 set that is in good condition but i just found a good deal on a set of front and rear tan leather seats out of an 04. How far off is this tan from the original tan in my car? would it look awkward with this color tan and the darker tan door panels? thanks for your input.

The tan in your car, "Saddle", is a little darker and otherwise richer than the tan "Parchment" seats from the '04. I personally can't stand the Saddle color; looks like a sh**ty version of that tan interior color that older Mercedes-Benz sometimes use (can't stand it on those cars either). Ford redeemed themselves a little when they switched to Parchment. But anyway, I think the Parchment seats will go well in your car, especially considering you're getting both front and rear. And at the end of the day, anything is still better than having torn up seats.

yeah, thats what i was thinking. if the colors all matched then it wouldnt make that much of a difference....i actually replaced my top and carpet with the parchment color from 99-04, so i guess if it clashed with the door panels etc. then i could just respray them parchment as well.

also: i was looking at interior paints on 50resto.com and they have 3 shades of parchment (light, med, dark). does anyone know what is the stock color for these cars?
