Definatly go with the M105/M205 combo. M105 cuts really fast. It works great paired with the kbm method. For really good cutting use it with a 4" orange pad. OD glaze is great. Opti seal is good sealant.

Using m105 is easy using the kbm method. Kbm method works well with m105 because its a non diminshing abrasive. To start u want to prime a orange cutting pad. You use m105 to prime it all over and evenly. Once primed your ready to polish. Unlike other polishes u don't spread the polish on a low speed using the kbm method. You just select your speed 5 or 6 are good and place pad on surface and begin. Pressure is important. Use enough pressure but not too much were the pad stops spinning properly. All u need is a couple of passes because m105 cuts so fast. The area u work on should be fairly small. Once done with a spot buff off and move on to your next spot. One last important part of using kbm is to constantly clean the pad with a microfiber to remove polish build up. Once finished with m105 go over using m205 to remove micromarring that m105 may cause.

How small of an area? When do I stop? How do I know I'm doing it right?

The size of the area is up to you. I like a small area like 2x2. Its easier to keep constant pressure on a smaller area. M105 is a non diminishing polish so it will not change in color like a diminishing polish will. A diminishing polish will look more oily once its worked in properly. I like to do a couple passes up and back with good amount of pressure. Then I do a pass with little to no pressure. This will help limit micromarring that may occur. Once a coupple passes are completed buff polish off and look over the area. You will see if the swirls are properly removed. If not go back and do a couple more slow passes

It will take out most swirls but it won't take out anything that you can feel with your nails.

Try the Black Box, if you don't like it, you're only out a couple bucks. I was really impressed with the results. I had done my 2000 GT with other popular waxes only to see all the stone chips and slight scratches highlighted by the dried white wax. It looked terrible with white specs all over the front of the car. The cleaner and wax is tinted black, so the stone chips and scratches don't stand out. It takes two applications and a bit of rubbing with the spray, but what a difference with a nice deep shine too! Night and day in my opinion. Get a pair of rubber gloves, unless you like stained black hands.

a wax isn't going to remove scratches or swirls
