Default Paint+Ideas

Guys i wanna paint my car a nice black. Everyone keeps telling me not to do it because it wouldn't be worth the price of the car and i might as well just trade it in for a car that is already painted that color. The problem with all that was that the car carries sentimental value to it and i cant get rid of it. I have no plan to get rid of my car, ever. Does anyone know a decent price for a great paint job? Estimate time, many other things i can do?

If it were me I would spend the big bucks ie 7000-10,000 for a top notch job. Good luck either way

true, everyone keeps telling me not to go through with it, but im going to do it anyways. I think im just going to leave it to the end so that i dont end up scratching the paint while i work under the hood.

yeah, if you spend less than $5k on a color change then you are gonna get a crappy job. you arent going to want that kind of paint job on a saleen.

$5000 job at the least for something good. if you have never had a black vehicle, let we warn you it is a b*tch. that being said it is also the only color i buy. when it is clean it is one of the nicest colors. but the trick is trying to keep it clean.

Haha thx, i usually try and keep my car looking clean. I wash it once a week and it still takes me an average of 3-5 hours before i'm done. I just love the way black looks makes my heart start beating faster and faster.

You should keep your car red. Saleens are sick in any color!
