Glass headlights for ’93?
I'm sure this has come up before, but I did not see a search function on this forum.</P>
On our '93 LX, the plastic headlight lenses have grown frosted, which is seriously degrading headlight performance. I've seen replacement front light sets on eBay for over $100. I'm wondering if there are any sealed-beam glass headlights that will work on this Mustang? If not, what are the best choices for replacing the oldlenses, etc.without spending too much $$$?</P><edited><editID>kaborka</editID><editDate>37948.6758449074</editDate></edited>
If you have a dremel, you can pick up some Mothers or Meguiars plastic polish and go to town on the lens covers. The stuff will clear it and make it shine better than any replacements you can buy.
Dan: Thanks! The guy at the parts shop sold me a little foil pack of the Meguiars for a buck to try. I was going to use a terrycloth, but I DO have a Dremel. I haven't used the Dremel for polishing before. There's a heavy felt disk that came with it. Is that what you use?
