Default Touch up paint

While washing my car I noticed a few scratches on the front right corner of my bumper. The big one is probably 3 inches wide and a 3/4 of a centimeter tall at the tallest point. Would touch up paint bought from ford ofcourse fix this scratch? The scratch is noticibly black from a couple feet away. I'll post a picture later if necessary. The other couple scratches aren't as big. My car is white.

Usually touch up paint looks worse than the actual scratch.. is it through the clear coat to base?

I believe so. Where the paint is gone, it is like completly black. Like the paint is completly gone.

if applied properly, the touch up paint would make it much less noticeable. its still not going to be perfect. it is also very easy to screw up a small touch up job and make it look worse than it started. whatever you do, dont use the little pen thing that comes on the touch up paint bottle. try and lay down multiple thin layers as opposed to one thick layer. im sure there are some touch up tutorials around here somewhere.

the top one would need touchup paint. and yeah, like ryan said, dont use the pen end. use the brush end. you may want to get the touch up clear coat as well, just as a little protection over that new paint. but take your time and look for a tutorial and you can get it done to make it much less noticeable.

also the bottom ones may be buffable... give it a shot with some rubbing and then polishing compound to see what happens.
