well i was thinking of getting soem Bilstein sprt shocks struts, Eibach springs, lowered 1.5-2 inches, MM caster camber plates, steeda bushing kit, and goodyear F1 tires, what do u all think? is there a better set up than this? cause i was thinking of buying all of this for my 02 GT. Thx!

 

Yo that sounds like itd be an unreal job for a 02 GT '2002 Stang GT' You seem to know your stuff. I was wandering if you could help me out for lowering my girl. Ive got a 96 gt with 245/45 17 inches and wanna lower it maybe 2 inches for my lightening kit. What you think i should do for struts?, springs? and so on? thanks man</P>

If u want to lower 2 inches then get the bilstein sportlines, they will drop ur ride 2-2.5 inches, but that can be a little to low, lowering ur mustang to much hurts performence, i say u lower it with the eibach springs im gettin(1.5 inches), go with bilstein shocks and struts, ive heard nothing but good things about them no complaints at all, u will definetly need caster camber plates for the geometry and allignment of your lowered ride, get some spring isolaters(their really cheap 20 bux), and buy the steeda bushing kit and ur set to go. O and dont forget tires, tires are as important as all of the things listed above, i got the goodyear F1 GS-d3 same size (245), these are some dam good tires great grip on wet and dry with an awesome thread design, ur stang will handle soooooo much better u will be amazed!</P><edited><editID>2002 Stang GT</editID><editDate>37855.8238310185</editDate></edited>

 

i have 18x9 saleens with 375x35x18 tiresize with tokico illumina springs and shocks, steeda caster camber plates. no rub,, droped the car 1.5 inches and improved handling dramatically</P>
