Default Rim cleaning/wax

This is the first car that I have had that actually has nice rims on it and I want to take care of them. I just got a Mothers Power Cone for my rims but I have no idea what to put on the rims to shine them up and keep them nice.

Please help!! (BTW, its my b-day today)

waxing the rims will just melt off since it exposed to so much heat, but it won't hurt if they're clear coated. try something more like a boars hair brush for cleaning your rims

Soap and water. When done driving, wipe them down. Brake dust build-up is a killer.

Once you get them clean, easiest way to keep them clean is to maintain them. Using a wheel wax helps prevent buildup also!

Most any wax will help -- wheels don't get that hot on a daily driver and wax doesn't generally burn off (brakes are another story).

I'm not that keen on Wheel Wax.

I like to use FX Spray Wax -- quick and easy.

If you do need to polish, use a product appropriate for the finish -- the PowerCone will apply any product you like, including the Wheel Wax.
