Default Wheel and tire cleaner

Well, I was wondering what you think is the best products for wheels and tires.

Im looking for something to really bring out the shine on my chrome rims, but not be to much work to apply

Then im looking for a tire shine thats not very messy

Any suggestions?

Do you have to be extra careful not to get any of that stuff on the brake rotors?

First wash the tires and rims with soap and water. I use Mothers Chrome Polish for wheels and then I protect with Poorboys Wheel Sealant.Brake dustwill come off with ease after using the wheel sealant. For tires I like to use Poorboy's Bold N Bright. The B&B dries to the touch and is not messy at all. I like to apply it with a foam applicator to get even coverage.

The wheel sealant and tire shine can be found on my website. www.obsessivedetail.com under the Poorboys World section.

303 aerospace protectant and apply 2 coats. Won't sling off the car after dry! For the chrome.....I use mothers chrome polish or Never dull. Easy on and easy off!

Nope, that stuff shouldn't hurt the rotors. Anything you do to the rims is rubbed on with a cloth, anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue. And tire shine won't hurt the rotors, so you're all good.

So far I've just been using my normal car wash soap on the rims (given that they're clear-coated) and they've come out fine.

For the tires I've been using Armor-All Tire Foam or whatever it's called, and it gives them a nice shiney black look that usually last about a week and a half.

I've heard, however, that Meguiar's NXT Insane Shine Tire Spray is the way to go (although it's more than double the cost of the Armor-All Foam), so I picked up a can of that a little while ago, I just haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Mother Chrome Polish on my rims! Poorboys Wheel Sealant to protect. I have been using Meguiar's Natural Shine lately. I'm not too impressed, but it doesn't sling.

You must have have some cheap rims. Your stock rims are polished aluminum not chrome.
