Default Engine detailer

Does anyone know of a good engine detailer to use that will give that wet/gloss look without turning all the hoses and stuff white? I was looking at cd2 at autozone but decided to get opinions first.

I'll have to give the CD-2 a shot, I was told to stay away from degresser because it is harmful to my powdercoated items.

Adam's In and Out Spray for dressing an engine

I've had great luck using Optimum Opti-Bond tire gel diluted 1:1 with water. Use your degreaser on the engine to get the surface ready. Then Spraying all plastic and hoses with the Opti bond mix taking a brush and covering all the surfaces. Then letting it set for about 10 mins, taking a cloth and wiping dry. Keeps the engine bay looking wet for weeks depending on the conditions of your enviroment. I have an engine bay I did for a customer around 2 months ago, and it still looks very close to the day I did it. Florida weather, DD, and sits outside mostly. I love it and use it on all my personal vehicles aswell. My 2 cents.
