installing chin spoiler

Default installing chin spoiler

how hard is it to install a chin spoiler for my 04 v6? should i have some do it for me? i have limited Mustang knowledge and dont know if its easy to do or not.

any help is appreciated, thanks.

it isnt hard to install one at all. it took me like 30 mins to put mine on myself. just get it lined up where u want it and temporarily attach it to the bumper (tape works) then you drill the holes in it and put the screws in. not hard at all. the hardest part will be finding one, bc i think there are a very limited amount of them left at any retailers. alot of them have discontinued them so they can focus on the 05 stangs.

its super easy, all you need is a drill, i did mine with out even jacking it up

i had to jack mine up so i could get the drill underneath LOL, and I didn't use screws, just those pin thingeys that you press in and they stay.

Very easy, I did it with the help of my dad. I couldn't find tape that would hold, so I held and he drilled. Next thing is that it does not line up flush all the way around the bumper unless you start from the wheel wells and work your way towards the center. Each time you attach it with a plastic holder, you will have to have someone pull on it while you drill your next hole. I didn't feel like doing that, so mine sits back a 1/2 inch from the bumper.
