Default cloth seats cleaning

Hey anyone have any helpful advice or products that clean cloth interior. I'm thinkin it might need steam cleaning. Since its a convertible alot of dirt and dust have made there way into my seats. I tried cleaning previously with a product and instead of cleaning it was like i just pushed the dirt around instead of picking it up it left dirt rings. any suggestions?

I use Adams products so my suggestion would be their carpet and upholstery cleaner and the carpet brush...u could also use the interior brush if the seats r not that dirty

Absolutely try Adams. I have a black cloth interior and for some reason every single drop of water leaves a gray stain on the seat. Adams takes it right out. It is also nice for removing other stains like dirt and salt. I first bought it because my idiot brother tried to sneak a Dr.Pepper in my car on a trip (no drinks except water allowed in my car) and ended up spilling all over the passenger rear seat and floor. By the time I was finished I had turned 3 clean white towels into Dr. Pepper smelling, brown rags. I was hooked immediately.

Thanks I will try to find adams, any Idea where i might pick it up or is it an internet item? I wasted 10$ today on a cleaner trying to get the dirt out today still failed it looked great when I applied the stuff but when it dried all the dirt marks were back. thankfully the carshow for me tommorrow will be a top up show so the seats wont be as noticeable until I can get some adams... thanks again for the input

A good cleaner that is cheap and you can get over the counter is Folex. This is a great stain remover/cleaner and doesn't leave behind any residue. This can be found out Lowes, Target, etc....

Btw, the best way to actually clean the upholstery correctly, is to spray on your cleaner/agitate and use a carpet extractor. I would have the upholstery professionally cleaned or you can go and rent a machine like a Rug Doctor. You are going to get the results this way if your cloth is pretty dirty.

The only time you want to spray something on and wipe off with a towel is when you are dealing with stains or just for light cleaning.

i would hope that his cloth is not that bad lol...to the OP, watch the Adams videos...you're basically going to spray the surface with the cleaner, use one of the two brushes and then wipe with a microfiber towel...it does wonders and makes it easier so you don't have to lug around a machine or anything...or even pay somebody to do something you can do yourself
