Default how do you dry your car?

How to do you dry your car? I am looking for a good way to dry my stang. I have been using some microfiber towels, i got from a local auto store, but the seem kind of ruff, Im afraid they might be scratching my paint. I know this has been covered before probablly, but any suggestions on getting the car dry.

Leaf blower.... used that sometimes at a friends house haha. Or just use one of those big microfiber towels.

mf waffle weave green guzzler folded into squares, when one side gets too wet or dirty, flip over, then inside out and etc. I usually use one square of it per part of the car. Like one side for hood, other side for roof, another side for trunk and back, etc.

I know this ! Go to Walmart and goto the car detailing supplies area and get a absorber towl. Works awsome! And does not leave swirls and your right some microfiber towls do leave tiny scratches in the clear coat. The best ones are at walmart they are green on one side and gray on the other. 500,000 fibers per square inch!

You probably need to clay and polish your car. Clay to remove the contaminants and polish it with a polisher with magires ultimate compound. 8.66 at Walmart . That will remove the Swirls and most scratches. Hit me up if you want pointers

Leaf blower= no swirls..ever. Plus you can blow the water out of the nooks and crannies so you don't end up with the snail trail down your door from the mirror..etc.

Stangmansbullitt hit it! The absorber is what I have used for over a decade. I use the turtle wax squeegee since I'm in Texas and it dries SO quickly (it helps to speed up the drying big time). Then I use the absorber to get 95% done, followed by microfiber and a detail spray for perfection!!

Ya. I used these same methods. I wash individual sides of my car. Left side right side front. Back. U get the idea. After I'm done I dry with a huge microfiber towel from Walmart. Blue on one side and gray on the other. Feels awesome in my hands. And if there r spots. I'll slightly wet the body panel and dry. Then I always do a spray wax with meguiars Quik wax with a small micro towel. Unless there r major scratches or swirls, it'll look perfect.

Another trick to use is "Wet Drying"

After rinsing off the soap, unhook the spray nozzle then use a moderate stream of water over the entire car. The sheeting action of the water actually follows the body curves faster than spraying the car off, thus less water left on the car and less to dry....and no water spots!!
Use this with the leaf blower or an air hose and you're done drying in a snap!

I faithfully used an "Absorber" for many many years on several new cars.. most of which were black. Last fathers day my son and I went half and half on a Master Blaster, expensive but very efficient and works great on my motorcycle also.
