Default Wet Sanding Problem

hey guys my car got keyed awhile back on my passenger door and I thought I would try my hand at a little wet sand project. Researched it, have a few friends that did body work and a friend gave me a duplicolor wet sanding kit.
Followed the instructions and the sanding came out out it seemed. When the area hazed and I applied and buffed the compound, the hazing is still visible and wont go away. It doesnt seem to be a huge problem but I wouldnt like to figure out whats going on. Thanks guys!

It sounds like you haven't completely removed your sanding marks. What grit sand paper did you finish with and what compound/tool are you using to buff?

Here's an article on removing scratches: How To Remove Scratches

i believe it was 2000 grit. the compound came from the duplicolor kit and it said you can buff it out by hand with a microfiber cloth. but obviously i dont think you can

You'll need to hit it with a power buffer and some rubbing compound then polish. Just be careful not to go through the clear.
