Best wax/ cleaning kit?
Im sure theres other posts on this but i couldnt find any, so dont hate me for making this post. haha.
Anyways, I would like to really give the pony a good scrub but want to know what brands and cleaners everyone uses. Right now i use mostly meguiars products, which i love. I would love to get things such as a rubbing compound, prep cleaner, sealer, clay, and then wax. I know mothers has a 2 step paint care system like that, who else has one and who has used them?
Any input is great, im open to trying new brands!

How bad is your paint on a 2010 that you want a rubbing compound?
I personally like Zaino products a lot. Probably the best I've used. Expect a good part of the day to do all the steps they recommend, but the final product you get is nothing short of awesome. Go to the Zaino Bros website and read through some of their tips and tricks. Follow their procedures and you'll be very pleased. Like I said though, it's about an all day thing.
Adams also makes some good stuff. I use their products as well and like them too. I guess it depends on what your car needs. Clay bar is definitely a plus after a very good wash.

I have used a lot of brands, but I always go back to Meguiar's, mostly the consumer products due to availability. The Ultimate line is good and I use the Hot Shot Tire Shine on my tires, wheel wells and rear under carriage after every weekly wash to keep them black and shiny. Still looking for the perfect product for the satin black finish on my rear deck lid and rear louvers. I saw something on an infomercial last week, but I did not get name or number. Anyone else see this?
Collinite 845 DESTROYS Meguiar's, Mother's, and all of the other wax's you can buy at the stores.
It comes in liquid form. Easy to apply and rub.
It shines great and LASTS MUCH longer than those other wax's.
You have to buy it on the internet but its WELL worth it.

Agree.......I use Meguiars tech protect interior cockpit shine on anything black and plastic. It strips the wax spillage off and shines it up very nice. Both side mirror covers, black plastic under the wipers, front grill and my rear decklid panel. They look brand new now.
There are a ton on new products that have hit the market in the last couple years. New companies like Optimum, CarPro, etc, etc make very good products that work very well. However the tried and true like Meguiars is always a safe bet. I use alot of Meguiars and I really like their products and they are always updating their lines.
If you want a super deep cleaning try using some Iron-x to pull the contamination out of your paint and follow it up by a mild claying.

If you want long lasting protection you can use some of the new nano coatings. They are a bit pricy thou. Some sealants I like are Blackfire Wet Diamond, Menzerna Power Lock, or Chemical guys Blacklight followed by V7 spray sealant. Also for a sealant that is very easy to use is Optimum Opti-Seal. Wipe on Walk away.
