Default mufflers or catback ?

ok , i just recently got my 86' Gt. I know you really cant get much hp out of an exhaust.. so is it really worth paying the $300 for Flowmaster Cat-back or would it be more worth my money for my exhaust shop to do it for around $200 ( i know this b/c i had my truck done there ) any info would be great

thanks-Cody

one when you buy a flowmaster setup they have proven facts that you will gain hp. a regular muffler shot hacks s**t together and pushbends[kinking] which is reducing flow.

If you're looking for performance, try to stay away from Flowdisaster and pick out a healthy straight through muffler system.
