Default Detailing Door/Window Rubbers...

I noticed that the rubbers on the top of my doors by the windows are taking a beating from the sun. What can I use to keep them in good shape and looking fresh?
Thanks!

I use silicone spray. I apply the spray to a paper towel and rub it on the door and trunk weatherstripping. I don't use it under the hood, because I don't want the vapors to find their way into the air intake and foul the sensors.

They aren't damaged yet or anything. I just noticed the other day the potential for them to become damaged from the sun when I accidently touched one; it was hot!

First you are going to want to decontaminate them with an APC and a woven microfiber towel. From there, something like Surf city Garage Professional Exterior Trim Conditioner. Either will help keep it protected from the harsh elements. It's also water based so it won't sling or turn colors.

Use Armor All towels. I swear by them. My Tahoe with 200K miles is 15 year old and the seals are all still like new.

Back in 76' a guy with a green mustang recommended them to me.
