I want to start detailing my mustang on my own, but I don't really know what products and supplies I should buy or the proper way clean it. Any help would be appreciated

 

I would take a look on Detailed Image's Ask-A-Pro blog. There is a lot of good information on how to properly maintain your car along with product reviews. You should be able to get a good idea of things on there.

Are you looking for a kit with a polisher and pads, or are you looking more for products to use for general maintenance like washing and stuff.
