vinyl stripes?

Default vinyl stripes?


so i have these vinyl strips that are fading really bad, especially the roof and trunk. they dont look factory. how hard would it be to just pull them up? blow dryer? thanks.

Ya, I don't mind that so much. The top vinyl looks terrible. How would I go about removing it? Heat gun and pull?

Heat gun or hair dryer will work. Pull back at an angle. If you just pull straight up the vinyl will tear. Slow and steady wins the race. Don't pull too hard/fast unless you know the paint is factory. I removed vinyl stripes from a car with a repainted hood once and the clearcoat came up with it halfway through.

Hot day will help as well. You will probably have some sticky residue as well. Need to remove that with thinner.
