Default plastic trim restorer or plastic trim dye?

My 2011 Mustang plastic trim is dull gray color now, some areas even approaching light gray. I applied a very popular back-to-black product but after 6 months, the plastic came up even more white than before. I have seen several videos on YouTube, where each person swears that they have the best solution in the world, bar none. What does Ford use? What really works to restore that almost black appearance?

Do I redye the trim? Or would one of the ceramic coats work?

Thanks for solid input from long experience.

I would think paint made for plastic with a adhesion promoter
