GT to LX

Default GT to LX

I have a 88GT but the front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, etc. are all bad. Ive always wanted an LX so I am going to convert it. Should I have any problems with this swap?

That should be a direct/easy swap. While your at it, change out the Turbines for some 5-Star Ponies to complete the look Leave the GT spoiler though as it doesn't hold water like the LX spoiler - which can aid in rust [:@]

Yea, now I just need to decide to either stick with the GT wing OR get a Saleen wing. I dont want to get the saleen wing because EVERYONE and their mother has it but I just think it looks so good. A charcoal LX w/ a couple shades lighter silver stripes w/ a 4' cowl and a saleen wing with whatever rims. Not sure yet on those either. But I have ALOT to do before i start to decide on rims.

If it was me I would put a 2.5" cowl hood and a 93 Cobra wing on the rear. Charcoal or silver with a set of deep dish bullitts and deffinately lower it a little. But that's just me.

I vote for leaving the stock GT wing. I'm not a big fan of putting parts off a SPECIAL edition car (such as Saleen, Cobra, Roush, etc) if your car isn't the real deal. And I'm not trying to open up the whole CLONING can of worms again - I'm just stating my opinion. Plus you say that EVERYONE has the Saleen wing, so why not leave your GT wing alone - it should keep you unique [8D]

its funny you say your trying too convert from 5.0 to Lx cuz Im doin the total
different

my lx is nice , well its ok for now , but I really whant a GT so IM trynna make the conversion
wont be exactly a gt but close enough

If your serious I'll send you my lx stuff that I take off my car and you can send me your gt stuff
