Default WINDEX POLISH

I was talking to a buddy of mine today as we were doing shift turnover and watching a car show on TV. He said that the best way to get a nice shine on a card before a show is to spray Windex on it? I've never heard this before, has anyone here heard of this?

Um - does this guy have a show car of his own that he does this too [&:] Doesn't sound wise to me - windex has ammonia in it, and I can't imagine that being safe for your paint. Could be wrong, but I think ammonia will pretty much strip any wax off [:@] Stick to your detail/wipe & shine type final touch sprays.
