I have a 97 cobra with the rio red paint, the clear coat has started to fall in some spots and taking with it some of the paint.

Does any one know the paint code for the 97 rio red paint? or what red paint on a spray can is close enough?

I know that house of kolours sell 3pc kits with the pearl or kandy coat, then the paint, and finally the clear coat, all in spray can form at wallmart. Just that the red seems to dark.

The paint code is in the drivers side door jamb. Look on the sticker where it says EXT PNT. The code is right there.

 

Rio Red paint code on a 97 Cobra is E8. Get the touch up paint from a quality auto body paint store. For God's sake don't get just anything......
