Default need for speed

One thing that I never thought to research before I bought my '05 v6 is that the top speed is air-drag limited. I was somewhat dissapointed that the body seems to act as a air-plow rather than a sports car. So my question is: how much can be done by after-market body kits to increase top-speed (without lowering the car too much as I live in an oilfield town in Norther BC, Canada) by decreasing air-drag? Otherwise I absolutely love the car... I fell in love with it on the test drive.

Thnx.

Default RE: need for speed

there really isnt much out there for this problem with our mustangs being wide and air damned. LOL. lowering it should help alot. but as far as air flow i mean just take out the things that stop air flowing like fog lights. get a different hood without the fake scoop. i hope this helps i dont really know what to say
