Is it cheaper and wiser to buy a 87-91 Lx hatchback, and putbrand newground effects on. OrBuy a GT and replace the ground effects? would the Lx even look the same. The reason im asking is my insurance is cheaper for the Lx than a GT.

thell fit on a lx, but it will cost some dough.. there is alot of brackets for a GTs groundeffects. i just threw on the GT nose on my LX. and the mounting holes for the two wings are different. the cobra wing uses a lx hatch.

lx hatch like 12 holes
gt hatch like 6 holes

ive never seen one either and i would look sweet, but i like the look of the hatch better. if the insurance is cheaper then, depending on how long you plan on having the car, you might want to just get the lx. do the math and see which one will be cheaper in the long run

You don't have to go with the stock Gt effects, there's plenty of kits out there that are real close made for the LX, cervini's makes a bunch and there's another company called ABC or something like that.
