Default Loud Agressive HighFlow Muffle

Hey Everyone;

Im still undecided on a muffler for my 1995 V6. Its going to have Full length BBK headers (15/8 tubes and 3" collector)and true dual3" exhaust (mind you its going to be highly modded and 2 1/2 wont do) X-Pipe kit (not sure by who yet) and side exhaust with the roush side exhaust skirts. I want the best throaty lopey tone, most agressive, high flow mufflers out there, something that will make my car wake people up and think "DAYMN!"

Now I was thinking of going with Flowmaster Series 40 becaues I have had the muffler in the past on my V8 Chevy 350 in my El Camino. The Camino was only a single 3" exhaust but DAMN it sounded good. I was wondering if i should go with Series 40 agian or try something new.

If you guys could show me a website or sound clips of V6 stangs with the mufflers i would be more then happy.

Thanks Guys.

It will bea waste of money and time, since you'll never have the "throaty" sound of a v8 coming off a V6 engine, no matter how many exhausts you add (dual, triple etc)..Your performance will also suffer, since adding a dual exhaust system to a"slightly moded" v6 engine is not a good idea. Sorry man.

But if you still want to get them is your money, go to this Website for some V6 exhaust sound clips...you may have to register..

From what he said it sounds like he went to my CarDomain site, where I have the plans for my car, and they are common knowledge.

Ya I know, a 5.0 would yeild huge results and a 4.6 would as well with the money that is going to be invested. But im not looking for what everyone already has, Im trying to make an incredibly powerful V6 mustang that will whoop the V8 competition.

Its going to be one of our businesses show/street/drag cars. Other cars we have on the table to mod is a 1987 Thunderbird, 1970 Chevelle. And we are going to try to get ahold of a 2003 SVT Cobra to modify it to around 850 or so horse power without without changing the internals, or we might go ahead and swap out with forged and billet material and push over 1000hp. We were going to purchase a 2004 Mach1 and paint it to match a 1971 Mach1 that we had, but unfortunatly we do not have that car anymore and we cannot go on with those plans. The 1971 Was a 351C 4V with all factory options, original color was flamingo Grey, is now Firefox Red with gold accents (same color as Goldfinger) with 7 layers of clear coat, the Car was stunning, and the 2004 Mach1 was going to be its twin.... I prefer not to discuss that anymore

I am EXTREEMLY interested inthe FORD GT and would like to get ahold of that and be one of the firstfew to offer mods and packages for it. That great Awesome 500hp 5.4L engine is one hell of a killa.

Anyways, without divolging too much of my identity..... What was I talking about again? LOL

But yes your right, its VERY expensive to make minimal power come from a V6, but we arent doing it for easy cheap mod or practicality, we are doing it to be different.
