Just an opinion, I agree with N2O. I think it is silly to put a Cobra R body kit on a regular Mustang GT. It's like you are trying to make it something it is not. Like having a V6 stang and putting 5.0 badges on the fenderwell. Get what you want but I think you can get a nicer kit for less and make your car stand out

yea, i agree with 03blacksteed, i have a GT myself, and i was also thinking on getting the cobra R kit, i decided not to because it's just not right to make a mustang look like something that it's really not! So what i did was i got the 2000 cobra R spoiler, and went to Cervini's auto designs and the people there helped me pick out just the right body kit but and it really stands out, well i think any way haha, but should i go with the Cobra R rims?

I think all you guys who think its a bad idea to put the cobra R body kit on his car are crazy. I mean I personally wouldnt put the whole kit on myself...thats just not my style. I'm sure he isnt buying the cobra R kit because he wants everyone to think he has a cobra r and what not, he likes the kit. he just wants his car to look nice, thats all. I plan on putting the saleen rims/ spoiler on my car...nothin wrong with that is there?

Not at all, IMO, I just think the Cobra R is the Cobra R, a freaking SICK machine. Look, I just gave my opinion about the R kit. I think the Saleen spoiler, rims will be nice for you. What year is it?

I think they would look ok, but for how long? The way I approach thing is I almost always buy the real deal. I'd always be worried about it craking or chipping...but that is me. Good luck!
