how do i remove the windshield wipers on my 68 coupe?

Little clip on bottom of wiper - pull it away and get yourself a wiper puller from auto parts stores cheap tool and make its a lot easier.

 

Yep a clip on the bottom.. they come off with a bit of persuasion..

 

okay i popped off a little piece of metal...i guess thats the clip. it appears to be covering a coil spring....are we on the same page? chapter at least? then i just pull on where its attached to the car with a puller?

Clip is underneath the assembly does not actually pop off at least on my 70. Actually have to look under round end of arm covering wiper shaft. It just pulls away from the shaft. Clip you are referringjust allows access to thespringas far as I can tell. Once clip is pulled away from shaft pull with a puller.
