Default roof rail weatherstrip

I'm trying to install roof rail weatherstrip on my 66 but have ran into a snag. The weatherstrip is a Scott Drake piece (that may be the problem) and I don't have the original to compare it to. The roof rail channel has a notch in the front inside corner about an inch long. The weatherstrip has a inch piece on the end that appears to go in the notch however if you install it that way the metal mounting tab on the weatherstrip is about 3/4 of an inch away from the mounting hole. Has anyone else ran into this? Can any one post a pic of the front of their mounted weatherstrip? Thanks

That is the drip rail seam sealer, I think he is talking about the rubber strip above the windows, below the drip rail.
The only thing I can think is to call the people who supplied it and see if there is a different one for your specific car. If not, then return it and order from a different company that will know exactly what you need.
