Default Disc brakes for '69 ?

I want to convert at least the front brakes to disc on my '69 fastback AT, I was wondering if there is any other cars that I could pull them off of at a junkyard? I don't know if maybe other years or possibly a Maverick would have disc brake setup that could go on the '69 stang easily.

Any suggestions?

I've seen conversion kits for about $1100, is that good?

Read the sticky I have placed at the top re: Granada disk brake conversion. You can also buy conversion kits from many sources. Look at the Baer conversion kits first.

Cougars and I think 68 and 69 are the same setup or at some of the parts. I think early 70s mavericks and comets were the same also.
$1100 is pricey, but all new stuff can't be beat either.
