What's a fair price for '94 V6 convertible?
I have a 1994 V6 stick-shift convertible with 116k miles on it. It was a CA car for 8 years and there is NO rust but the paint is faded. The window in the convertible top is starting to separate from the top and the top guy said it would be $500 to replace the window or $1,400 to replace the top and window. Other than that, it is in fine shape and runs well. It has a new fan belt and two new tires on the front. The original Delco AM/FM/cassette was replaced with a Delco AM/FM/CD and it has the premium sound. I listed it in the paper at $2,495 which is the Kelly Blue Book value for the car in 'Fair' condition. I told my wife I would go lower a few hundred. She has a guy who is interested but a buddy of mine thinks I am too low for a convertible.
You guys are the experts. What do you think? (without the benefit of a photo)
THANKS!
