Rear Window problem in 2000 conv
Hi All,
I am a recent buyer of 2000 Conv Must. The rear window of the car needs to be replaced. The dealer says that it may take $1400-$1500 bucks to fix. But I have put all my money in buying the Mustang itself.
Does any of you have some idea of repair shop in or around plano, TX where this can be done. The cost of the window in e-bay is some 150 bucks. Can I install it myself or is it something that a trained mechanic only can do?

THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE YOU FOR ALL YOU ARE WORTH, THAT IS REDICULOUS. I know for a fact that they can use your old window and have them put a new top on it for around 500. So your best bet is to go buy the gleaa like you were talking about and buy a new top and find a specialist in your area to install it!
