I have a 97 Mustang 3.8 with 119k. The air bags deployed unexpectedly while driving on the highway at 65mph. Did not hit anything and the road did not have any bumps, cracks etc. Never been in an accident. Insurance will not cover since there was no accident. Ford dealer says it is not their issue and want $2073.00 to repair. Called the Ford Customer Service and their help deks person went through their "question and answer process" and they indicated that there would be no resolution from Ford. Any body hear of this before. Any suggestions??????
