What to get next?
I have a 03 V6 Mustang with a cat-back exhaust system, and I was looking at what I was going to get as my next upgrades. I was looking into a posi unit because I want both wheels to spin but would gears be more beneficial? I don't know what gears come stock in this car but I was looking at some 3.73's, I just don't know if they will work real well without having posi in the rear, I got about $400 to spend including the install, I have a friend that can install anything without really tight tolerances, like gears, but he has never installed a posi before.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for things I should get?
Thanks!

Have you done the basics? Like CIA, bigger throttle body, programmer or just a chip, underdrive pullies, little things like that? If it's a manual, better clutch, shifter. For auto, maybe a power upgrade.
I don't know much about rear ends, but I thought you should have a certain amount of power before a posi is needed? Unless you just want one. For 400 you could buy alot of small power boosters and install yourself. Maybe that will give you some ideas.

I put in a Pro 5.0 shifter and i was thinking about putting in some underdrive pullies. I was talking to a guy who does work on my budies 350 z and he said that it not necarssay to get a bigger throtal body now. he said that i should get more power adders before i do that. and do think it is worth it to get a CAI? i have talked to oter people woh said that the posi would be a good investment but i am just trying to get different opinions.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Yes get a cold air intake. They give you better throttle response and up to like 10-12hp on some vehicles(don't know which ones). They don't make them for my car so I can't buy one....I will have to make one. If you don't want to buy one then drill holes all over the bottom of the stock intake box, you will still see a gain.
