I think another sticky should be made about the dangers and consequences of street racing.

Also, I think there should be some sort of restriction/guideline to posting in the racing forum. If you have a problem with street racing then you should simply avoid the threads concerning a street race and stick to drag strip racing threads. It's not that there is anything wrong with disagreeing with it, but it is getting old and redundant. It's going to make people think twice about posting...a lot of people join just to discuss racing. We all want this place to keep getting more popular don't we?

My intentions are to help eliminate tension, or any sort of hostility between any of the forum members concerning their views on street racing.

Just some food for thought on making the forums alittle more friendly and less tense

I'll be honest, I think twice about making a thread about racing....<edited><editID>Dan02GT</editID><editDate>37856.1857060185</editDate></edited>

I think the forum os ok..there is a need to talk with the youngest about street racing ..we've all done it..the sticky that was put up is a great start...some people feel more strongly than other I guess it needs to be keep in check some. maybe open a street racing forum or something...I hate to say this but if it wasn't for street racing the mustang could had deappeared and alot of the aftermarket sells. I don't condone street racing..but let's keep an open mind..just my 2 cents

I like your signature VFAST

I just think, if someone posts about a race on the street, anyone who has a problem with street racing should keep their anger <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0"> out of the thread

That's what I was hoping for with the sticky, with Jeep's post it kinda gives everyone a warning on the consequences, and with that known it shouldn't have to be discussed in every street racing related thread.

I agree, If you have nothing to add but a flame, then do not post.

I also agree with opening a street racing section to post in, so that way people who are against it can avoid it completely.

That's a good point too, but there are already quite a few topics here..dunno, we will have to see what the Mod's think about the new suggestions <img border="0" src=smileys/smiley8.gif border="0">

dan..thanks...I do agree....we need to do sumthing before it gets out of hand and a big fight starts....but it needs to start small....I have lost a few friends due to street racing but have also lost 2 of my best friends at the track..we take chances every where we go....as long as we don't encourge it is the way to go but to fight with the one's doing it won't help much. they do it to despite..one of those fine line things..I'm setting here with a 10 sec car..can't go to the track becuase of rules..don't want a roll cage in the car...so I'll guess I'll detune it to race.
