Where did the appearance forum go?

 

It was combined with the Detailing forum

dont bring it back, dude it was a waste, just post it under the detailing or under 5.0/4.6 etc.

 

We're attempting to clean up the forums a bit. All your posts you've made are still here, just in a different forum.

 

IMO, it's a mistake to put the appearance forum under the cleaning forum. There are a lot of appearance mods that people want to do and have questions about, it deserves its own group. You can't expect people to post appearance questions in the engine specific forums. There is a clearly defined line between those who mod for performance and those for appearance. You put an appearance question in the engine section and you'll get flamed to death with ideas on how better to spend the money on gears, pulleys, etc. That's just my .02

I think the name should still be Appearance (Brought to you by...). Detailing kind of deserves it's own forum so that all of the tricks and tips to keeping the car clean can be consolidated to one place.

 

actually, to be quite honest, I didn't even know that detailing was a forum section until now, I thought it was a link for an advertisement.
