I think we need like a mods list like a group of parts for a 13 sec car,12 sec etc.
I think this will cut down on some of that. but some people are too lazy to look.
but at the same time it might make them fell more welcome. I see we have alot of 1 time people just come to ask a question think that guys on other forum don't give them the time of day...
I know I post alot but I try to go thru posts that people ask a question and no one response..reason I do this I was in a mustang car club an no one would do this it quickly just came to be a click hang out..funny thing is we get along real well with the a difference is ages..
I think a forum will open up for more involved tech questions I think..
one thing I thought of is the link thing..there is some much info out there to get and would seem to help any & all of us.and would greatly cut down time looking for it.I like to learn something new everyday. well I'll stop here as I'm out of breath*L*

I agree vfast, I think more importantly than anything is that we make people feel comfortable and do our best to respond to their questions or concerns. A FAQ section would be nice, but I dont mind it when people ask the same questions, even if they all get the same response. Thats the reason I try to reply to most all threads I see (if I can or have any input), there is nothing worse then making a thread that no one looks at or replies too, and if I were a newbie here, and I was, and no one replied to my question I would find another forum. </P>


The reason I stayed and became an active member wasnt because of all the technical articles etc I came across (lol), it was the people. I think a FAQ section and technical section will only better an already great warm forum. Oh yea, and unique user statuses too </P>

Well i think we should have some kind of protection policy or something from those scammers for ex. 87GT. I dont know how abouts getting it or doing anything about it but we cant have untrustworthy people stealing from others who enjoy the site ect ect. i think everyone could agreee on that

 

that's hard to do. I hate it when people have to make a living stealing from others. They think there is no recoarse. I lot of people are tracking them down. but there are things to protect yourself,which you should do and not put it on someone else to look out for ya. you have cod,paypal ins, etc

 

or the president of this site can act as a escrow account... my old club did it that way to prevent this crap...

 

yeah..but people have to learn to protect themselves and not have other's do it for them....
