Default Posting to the classifieds

I have been a member of this forum for over a year. I read the post from time to time and recently wanted to post some wheels for sale. I went to the classifieds and briefly went through the rules. I misunderstood the rule about number of post. The classifieds require at least 50 post on this forum to post to the classifieds. I though the rule was saying that you could not post more than 50 ads (my mistake). Anyway, I find it interesting that in order to have the privilege to post on the classifieds that being a member is not enough; you have post on here as if it is your MySpace page. I feel the 50 post requirement is ridicules. I guess I better get started by posting this complaint. Only 45 more post to meet this arbitrary requirement.

Look around at all the other members...you will find that almost 100% of them have way over 50 posts. The purpose of the post count rule is to discourage people who join and try to post a for sale ad on the same day, because chances are they may either be scammers or they may just sell and leave the forums. We want members who contribute to the forums posting for sale threads in there, not people who look at mustangforums.com as a craigslist or ebay.

If you don't like it, you are not forced to stay here by any means.

Looking at your join date, had you posted just ONCE a week, you would already have had at least 50 posts.
