How do I edit the display title of a thread i've started?

im not sure if its because im a mod, but if i double click in the grey box around the thread title i can just edit it right there...

yea that's not working. it's just changing the name of my original post, not the actual title of the thread. I wish i could figure this out, I want to change the title of this post:

well with the old software changing the title of the first post changed the thread title.....not sure if anyone but mods can now

nope, users cant change the title right now- i think its a box the admins or whoever set it up have checked.

needs be unchecked!
