I am fairly new here, but I've been looking and searching around and had a question. Is there a specific group, sub-group, or child board for inline 6 Mustangs? Every other Mustang engine is covered except the inline 6 so I'm just wondering if I've missed a sub-category or if there aren't enough people to post in such a section if it were present.

It may just be lumped into the Classic section. I remember hearing something about an inline 6 in a Fox body...if you haven't already, search in the 5.0 section and the V6 section.

 

It could be lumped in with something else and maybe I've missed it. The inline 6 was used for many years from 1964-1973 and later in the Fox bodies from late 1979-1982 due to supply issues with the V-6 during the first half of 1979. My 82 Hatchback has one of these Inline 6 engines, and although I know it's not a powerful engine in the overall lineup I wanted to know if there could be any specific area in the forum for people to easily discuss their inline 6's (whether in the classics or the foxes) and any upgrades they have done to them due to its long history powering many Mustangs. Again, I understand if the formation of a new section or subsection isn't warranted due to the lack of people who may have these engines, but I just want to know where this information is on the site.

Although the 6 Cylinder Section doesn't say anything about the I-6 motors, I would look there if it's an early Fox I-6. If it's a 64.5 - 73, then ask away in the Classic Section.
