Default Getting Automatically Logged Out

just wanted to let you know for the last couple of days, the forums have been automatically logging me out within an average of 1-2 minutes of sitting idle (within 10 minutes of being on the forums this morning, i have had to log in 5 times). a few times, i will log in, and immediately click on what thread i want to view, and i will be logged out when the thread comes up. i don't know if anyone else is having this issue, but again, i wanted to let you guys know so hopefully the problem can be fixed. thanks

**edit, it has done this every time i refresh a page, but still does every once in a while when i click on a thread or try to post

They really haven't done anything. They still haven't changed the 2005-2008 section to 2005-2009.

first off are you checking the "remember me" box?

I stay logged in for days on end with no issues so i am guessing its a problem with your setup:

1. virus/internet software
2. cookies
3. browser

Well one other thing I did notice is that when I use Firefox it doesn't happen, just when I use IE. And yeah I usually check the remember me.

i don't have the 'remember me' box checked, but everything else is set properly. before my problem started (just a week or so ago) i'd been able to refresh a page without any problems. when it started, i hadn't made any updates or changes to browser software or internet settings or anything. my guess is it's the browser causing the problem (it's avant browser, not IE); why, i don't know.

arg... now it randomly logs me out when i open a new window. that's gotta be a browser problem, but i still don't know what would cause it to happen
