an offense = infraction.


different ones are worth different points. they wear off after a month or two, or longer, depending on infraction. but the history is there. if you rack up a certain number of points(normally 3), you are temp banned until they wear off. infractions have a reason, location of said post that caused it, and the mod that issued it.
